The Egyptian Book of the Dead is possibly the oldest manuscript known to man. It can be described as a manual for navigating the afterlife according to ancient Egyptians. It contains various secret spells and instructions that allow the deceased to successfully overcome obstacles and be accepted into the company of Gods.
